Abstract
This research proposes a consortium blockchain and IoT-enabled smart contract framework for rice supply-chain traceability, automated recall, and consumer safety. IoT sensors monitor temperature and humidity in real time, while smart contracts automate expiry warnings, product recall, and quality assurance. The framework integrates consortium blockchain governance, IoT monitoring, and rule-based smart contracts to improve transparency, data integrity, traceability, and food safety.
